Stayed here only for one night with coupple of friends but I was not amazed. First, we waited one hour at reception for them to sort out the rooms. Building it self is very confusing and have very low cielings in some parts which makes it really wierd. Overall service was not too bad, they tried to fix all the flaws and have been quite pleasent with us. I also liked the rooms with lots of space and huge bathrooms.
Overall it was not too bad but comparing with price we paid, there is lots of missing.

Typically overpriced for a hotel chain, but the staff were really trying hard. Charging £20 or so for a red vin de pays d'Oc seems hugely excessive. I wanted to hate it but was placated by the efforts of the staff to please (we chose another red)

We stayed here with our two kids after getting a free night from the hotel's loyalty scheme - as a result, I cannot comment on the price, but the hotel itself was rather nice.
The location is excellent, the rooms and facilities good for central London (there is a quite large pool) and no complaints about the service.
Le Meridien hotels tend to be a little classier and artier than the dull corporate style of, say, Marriott or Intercon and this one is no exception.

Le Meridien is one of those places that you’d never expect to stay in unless you were a celebrity or some one in a high position in the business world. Tourists and passer byers usually walk past it and consider how great the exterior is. I stayed here on a weekday evening and the décor is very plush. I was in awe just staring at the ceilings and statues. Put it this way, everything is expensive. From the marble floors to the bell boys, everything is to the highest quality. Squeaky clean mirrors in the lift and cleaned up carpets for the corridors. As for the rooms, they are massive and I’m not talking about the bathroom, because they too were also massive. You could fit a person into the bathroom for them to sleep on the floor! Also, there on the table were four glossy magazines from Harpers to Yes magazine. There were also complimentary chocolates, which I also found entertaining as I indulged them. Overall, the bathroom was nice and the king size bed was very cosy. The entire room was lovely and I definitely enjoyed myself, however, because of the size of the room, I got quite scared thinking that someone might pop out from the dark corners of the room. I think the price of the rooms range from £270-550 per night. I don’t think I need to say anymore, but 10 out of 10 for solid quality. Also, one last note, don't look outside the window because that's a different reality; the backstreets of central London.
